Billy Campbell and The Mighty Sparrows

Norman Rowell and Chris Kitson were former members of the Carpet Baggers pop group they joined up with Billy and Pete Campbell, Steve Carlisle and Colin Walker in 1968.
The group played at the Boat Club, Palais, Sherwood Rooms (in Nottingham) and many gigs in Lincoln and were support group to Desmond Dekker, The Ivy League, The Sweet and others.
Norman Rowell went on to play with the Foundations.
Steve Carlisle played for many years with Mike Pender's Searchers.
The Mighty Sparrows disbanded in 1974 when Billy and Pete Campbell went to London.
